A recent announcement about the transition into Stage 3 of lockdown have permitted churches to gather in groups of up to 50 people. While we are eager for the day that we can come together again, we have elected not to change our strategy for the time being, and will continue with our online streaming. As things progress we will continue to communicate any changes.
In light of the current status of COVID-19, we want to let you know that we have temporarily suspended our weekly and weekend gatherings in our campus buildings. This will limit physical contact to help the efforts to contain the virus’s spread.
The health and well being of our congregation is our priority, while not losing sight of the importance of staying connected and building God’s kingdom.
With all this in mind we will be streaming our meetings online, which includes Kidszone, Sisters in Sandton and weekend services with live worship and faith-building, fear-immunising teaching. It is up to us to stay plugged in and connected so we don’t miss a beat with what God is going to do in this season. We will keep you informed with any further developments and how we will roll out these meetings.
We continue to pray for our church, country and leaders, and encourage you to do the same as we look forward to the day when we will open our doors again soon.
Remember, our church is not closed, just our buildings! Let’s continue to be the church to the world.
Psalm 91:6-7 NLT Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you
