sisters of africa conference

Each year, women gather to receive relevant and practical ministry from God’s Word and internationally respected keynote speakers as well as our very own Ps Wilma Olivier who is the visionary behind the Sisters of Africa Conference.  A multitude of women’s lives have been transformed through this annual conference.  In turn women are equipped and empowered to impact their homes, churches and workplaces.

In 2020 we celebrate 20 years of Sisters of Africa with TWO Conferences running on TWO consecutive weekends. Conference 1 will be running from the 15th – 17th of October 2020, Conference 2 will be running from the 22nd – 24th of October 2020, both conferences will be in a 3 day format with confirmed guest speakers Charlotte Gambill, Sheryl Brady and Mercy Lokulutu

sisters of africa conference

Hi girls,

Every year Sisters of Africa is such a highlight on our calendar. As the women gather in their thousands there is expectation and excitement for the unique ways that God will speak to every heart, and a knowledge that what we receive at conference will have a significant affect not just on our lives individually, but on our families, marriages, workplaces and friends.

However, as the world continues to grapple with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic we need to be wise. The run-up to our magazine launch has been filled with much prayer and deliberation about the best way to navigate this impact on Sisters of Africa 2020. So on that note we have made the decision to postpone SOA 2020 to next year. While we are sad that we won’t be gathering as we have in years past, we have such a conviction that as we gather in 2021 it will be a conference of unprecedented impact. We are hopeful and we are excited!

PLUS we are so excited to announce that Sheryl Brady and Mercy Lokulutu have confirmed that they will be joining us for 2021! With that news alone, we are already buzzing with anticipation, but there will also be so much more to look forward to.

The dates for next year are set: 30 September – 2 October and 7 – 9 October 2021. The same powerful conference over two significant weekends, and the best part? If you have registered for SOA 2020, your registration has already been transferred to next year! Your place is secured!

If you know now that you won’t be able to make it next year, why not consider gifting your registration to another lady in your world? If not, feel free to email [email protected] so we can assist.

This has been an unusual time across the world, and many are struggling in many ways. We pray for our church and our congregation daily, as well as for local churches everywhere in the world, trusting God for His grace, provision, discernment and peace. We cannot wait until we can gather together again, but until then, stay safe, be wise and keep building your faith in the Lord.

Ps Wilma
