God
There is one creator, God, who exists in the mystery of three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully man and fully God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will one day return. He alone is the way to salvation and the head of the Church.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, sent to dwell within every person who puts their faith in Jesus. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live a Christ-centred life, guides us into truth, produces spiritual fruit, equips us with spiritual gifts for ministry, and enables us to be effective witnesses for Jesus.

The Bible
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is accurate, applicable to daily life, and is the final authority on matters of conduct, salvation, and all we believe.

Salvation
Salvation is God's gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It cannot be earned by good works but is available to all who repent, believe in Him, and confess Him as Lord.

Eternity
Every person will spend eternity either in the presence of God or separated from Him. Those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ will enjoy eternal life with God, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from Him.

Prayer
Prayer is our direct line of communication with God. It is an invitation to know Him, worship Him, thank Him, seek His wisdom, and bring every need before Him. As we pray in faith and according to His will, God hears us, transforms us, and works in and through our lives.

Healing
We believe that God is our Healer and that He still heals today. Jesus demonstrated God's compassion by bringing healing and wholeness to those who came to Him, and we are encouraged to pray in faith for the sick, trusting God to heal according to His will and perfect timing.

Communion
Communion is a sacred act of remembrance and thanksgiving, instituted by Jesus Christ. Through the bread and the cup, we remember His body broken for us and His blood shed for the forgiveness of our sins, proclaiming His death until He returns.

Baptism
We believe in baptism by full immersion for every believer as a public declaration of faith and identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Church
The Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship God, grow in faith, build authentic community, and share the Gospel with the world. Every believer has a part to play in fulfilling Christ's mission.

Marriage
Marriage is a covenant established by God between one man and one woman. It reflects Christ's love for the Church and provides the biblical foundation for lifelong companionship, faithfulness, and the nurturing of children.

Family
We believe that the family is God's primary design for nurturing faith, love, and healthy relationships. Parents are entrusted with raising children according to God's Word, and the Church is committed to strengthening and supporting families in every season of life.

Adi and Claire Olivier
Ps Adi and Ps Claire have been part of the Rivers staff team for almost 25 years. They have a deep love for Jesus, a passion for His Church, a heart for family, and a desire to help people discover life and purpose in Christ. They have been married for 24 years and are the proud parents of two children, Aiden and Chloé. They have faithfully served in a variety of leadership roles, including overseeing the Creative team, as well as leading several campuses, before stepping into the role of Senior Pastors. Together, they are committed to building a life-giving church where people can know Jesus, find belonging, grow in faith, and make a lasting difference.
