Our four integration courses run on a Tuesday evening in Sandton, and will help you integrate into the life of Rivers Church.

Getting Started

Dates: 14 – 21 May 2024
Duration: 2 weeks on Tuesday nights
Cost: Free

Who should attend? New to Rivers or a new believer? If so, this course is a great place to start.

What it’s all about? Getting Started will help you gain a basic understanding of Christianity and learn to stand in God. Building a strong foundation from the beginning is vital for a successful walk with God. This course will also cover basic principles and help integrate you into the life of Rivers Church.

Partnership

Dates: 28 May 2024
Duration: 1 Week on Tuesday night
Cost: Free

Who should attend? Partnership is a core value at Rivers Church, and as such anyone who would like to consider joining the church as a member needs to complete this course. It is also highly recommended for those considering volunteering and those interested in full time ministry.

What It’s All About? The Partnership Course will go in depth into our vision, values and culture, and share more about the journey of Rivers Church and the exciting future ahead of us.

The Holy Spirit: An Introduction

Dates: 8 – 22 October 2024
Duration: 3 weeks on Tuesday nights
Cost: Free

Who should attend? Anyone who would like to gain an accurate and balanced understanding of who the Holy Spirit is, and what He does as part of the Godhead.

What it’s all about? The Holy Spirit Course is an introduction to the third person of the Godhead: who He is, His attributes, and how He expresses Himself to us. This course will break misconceptions about the Holy Spirit and will help you to develop an intimate relationship with Him.

Premarital

Dates: 7 – 21 May 2024
Duration: 3 weeks on Tuesday nights
Cost: R150 per person

Who should attend? Singles, dating, engaged, divorced, married couples or anyone wanting to know what a Christian marriage should look like.

What It’s All About? The Premarital course will help you build a strong, Christian marriage based on biblical values and principles. It will help you to understand the role of a husband and a wife. It also covers topics like good communication, submission, managing finances, remarriage etc
